CRIPS, a resource center for prevention and risk reduction in the fields of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and drug use, organizes in Paris a preconference "AIDS and homosexuality in Europe" on October 25, 2005
FIAP Salle Bruxelles
30, rue Cabanis - 75014 Paris
(métro: Glacière, ligne 6)
Tuesday, October 25, 2005
9:00 – 17:30
This preconference wants to raise the attention on the epidemiology of AIDS in western and eastern Europe. Its goal is to show to the leaders of the LGBT community in Europe that thousands of gay men are being infected every year in Europe and that the LGBT movement has a responsibility in facing the epidemic. The conference will try to find good ways of collectively facing the epidemic among gays.
CRIPS is trying to find good speakers from different European countries (activists or researchers) to talk about these topics. We are also trying to find resources to offer scholarships to people from Eastern Europe to attend this preconference and the ILGA-Europe conference.
